1948年出生，青年时代师从于著名油画家諶北新，王炎霖；著名国画家方济众等。2007年入驻宋庄画家村。现任唐人街中国文化城暨中国当代艺术大观园组委会副主任。国际名家书画院理事，石门书画院名誉院长，丹麦贝克-费舍尔画廊签约书画家，北京昆艺兰文化发展交流中心签约书画家，西泠印社特邀书画家。
他自幼酷爱书法艺术，又得名家指点数十年研习临池不断，擅长行，魏，隶，篆，尤为擅长变体隶书，将隶，篆，行，魏等巧妙融为一体打破传统的字形章法，以崭新的面貌再现郑板桥大师碎石铺路的理念.其书法源于古帖而出其帖，有‘飞瀑越谷，舟泻千里。’之感。用笔坚实峻健，顾盼生情，轻，重，疾，缓，携永飘逸，充满强烈的节奏感，精，细，伸，缩，随机生发，即生动又不失法度。在结字上善变化即出人意料，又在情理之中，熟而不俗，健而不僵，活而不滑，既蕴古人之遗韵，又具自家之风貌，形成强烈的视觉冲击力和高度艺术感染力。业内人评价；娴熟精炼，用笔优美洒脱，节奏分明奔放，给人一种美的享受，深受收藏界的喜爱。

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sun JiXiang, the Artist (B.D.1948), was a student of Shen BeiXin, Wang Yanlin and Fang JiZhong while he was in early days of his youth. Shen BeiXin and Wang YanLin had a fame of Oil Paintings and Fang JiZhong was a renowned Traditional Chinese Painter. Sun Jixinag joined Beijing Song Zhuang Artist Camp on 2007 as the Director of Exhibition at Beijing Times Arts Gallery. Meanwhile, he served as a Director of Organization at China Town Culture Centre and China Modern Arts Committee.
With named his lead image series “Lotus”, he blends as well as eastern display and western style in a perfect harmony with succeed the essential of traditional Chinese painting as well as modern arts consciousness. Applying with splash-ink techniques into his works, he combined the Chinese culture with oil painting and evolved an outstanding arts style of his own. His limited-edition prints and collector's plates are now represented by many galleries, and his original paintings are in public and private collections across North America, Europe and Asia.
